To complete trainings and get certified, you will need to first register for our automated certification site by downloading and reviewing the Certification Site Overview as well as watching the HMIS Certification Site Orientation video. After completing this short orientation piece and registering, you may begin training for your HMIS user license. To find out what requirements must be fulfilled to become certified, please use the information below according to what type of user you are. After successful completion of any certification questionnaire, it is important that your Agency and System Administrator receive a copy of all your certificates (and quiz results, depending on preference) to keep on file for your agency and to issue or adjust user licenses. If you do not know who your Agency and/or System Administrator is, please contact your direct supervisor.

 

  • System Administrator Requirements Open or Close
    1. Basic Privacy and Security, Informed Consent and Data Collection, and Advanced Privacy and Data Sharing are all required.
    2. An update of the three privacy trainings mentioned above is required no later than one year after initial completion or completion of the last update.
    3. Completion of the Users Policy, Responsibility, & Code of Ethics form.
    4. A signed and dated Users Agreement (for personnel files and SAI files).
    5. Prerequisite and workflow training(s) related to the participating agency requirements and successful completion of the corresponding certification questionnaire(s). Please see the table below to see which trainings apply.
    6. Provider Page training and successful completion of the certification questionnaire.
    7. Completion of all Grant Specific Trainings.
    8. Completion of all Training Addenda.
    9. Module trainings for all ServicePoint modules currently in use in their agency and/or locality.
    10. Completion of VI-SPDAT and VI-F-SPDAT Trainings.
    11. Completion of ServicePoint 5.11 HUD Data Standards Orientation and all trainings under the 2014 HUD Data Standards Training category.
    12. Completion of Self-Sufficiency Matrix Training.
    13. Completion of FundManager Training.
    14. Completion of CQI Coordinator Training.
    15. Completion of System Administration Orientation. This session is done after completing all other trainings and may follow initial licensure.
    16. Completion of Navigating ServicePoint and Navigating ClientPoint Trainings.

  • Agency Administrator Requirements Open or Close
