AmeriCorps and Michigan's Campaign to End Homelessness
The Michigan Coalition Against Homelessness supports 17 full-time and 7 half-time members in the Michigan Campaign to End Homelessness AmeriCorps Program. Members fill a critical need with homeless service agencies across the state. Members assist individuals experiencing homelessness or those at-risk of homelessness to assess barriers to housing, develop strategic plans, identify housing opportunities, obtain employment, in addition to performing various outreach activities. Members will also leverage an additional 475 volunteers to provide services to Michigan's homeless and at-risk populations across the state of Michigan.
Michigan's Campaign to End Homelessness AmeriCorps Program is an AmeriCorps State program and serves multiple counties in Michigan.
